Mississauga Jiu Jitsu

Wrists are grabbed from Rear

This is a technique from bygone days to prevent a swordsman from drawing his weapon meanwhile others would be moving in from sides and front.
Like many Jiujitsu techniques it is only part of a larger technique that results in four prone attackers and the swordsman standing-alone.

Right Foot Smashes his Knee then immediately steps
back to Rear.                       (in this "art" version sensei Joanne's Hands do not regrab his Wrist---
but could)
Should the attacker let go- either way the objective is reached.
The Arms are Windmilled causing a strategic change on attackers posture -- combined with stepping back . This gives superior position (essentially you are behind him to his right flank.)
Sensei by withdrawing her right hand accomplishes two important things.

1.Breaks his grip
2. Simultaneously chambers her punch.

She finishes with a thrusting(not snapping)
punch to the attackers kidney ( exposed by prior movement.)
